Well, that was an unproductive bike build weekend, hehe. But it was an amazing bike fueled weekend.
To be fair, I did do a smidge of bike build stuff. I made my first attempt at copper plating, it failed dismally. But apparently I need to get the voltage right, so I may try that again some time this week.
As for Saturday, well, that was party day. We patched in our 2 prospects and spent the afternoon talking bikes, chaos and other shenanigans. It is good to see our little Cape Town crowd growing with some awesome peeps.

On Sunday the weather was overcast and cold, but this did not stop us from finally getting to the Motorcycle Museum in Helderberg. We met up at Old Town for a coffee and chinwag and then off on the chilly road.
It was an amazing, fresh and smooth ride, filled with great scenery and lots of laughs along the way.
The Motorcycle Museum is a great place and I’ll definitely be heading back there soon. There is just too much to take in with one visit. The history is so rich and so interesting to see the interconnections between brands.
After all the exploring it was time to head home, but not via the highways, through the back roads of our stunning country. Following the twisty corners and long hilly straights we made our way passed home and out passed Philadelphia and then back towards home through Melkbos.

After 200km of chilly riding I was home, ready to crack a brewskie and rest, the doggo however had other plans, sigh.
Once home from the walking the doggo, it was time to rest and check out the weekend parts deliveries, hells yeah! New stuffs!
